The longer a Russian soldier remains deployed, the lower their chances of survival become. Stormtroopers face the highest mortality rates—only those equipped with special weapons, such as grenade launchers that allow them to remain at a distance, have a better chance of surviving multiple assaults. Nearly all those sent to storm enemy fortifications are killed.
